Lucas County Soroptimist is part of a global women’s organization whose members volunteer to improve the lives of women through programs leading to social and economic empowerment, always looking for the ‘best for women.’

 

Our Lucas County Soroptimist Club awards $1000 scholarships that may be used toward non-academic expenses to help lessen the financial burden of women in school.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

​

• Reside and attend school in the Lucas County Region.

• Has primary financial responsibility for herself and at least one other dependent.

• Demonstrate financial need

• Enrolled in vocational, technical, or undergraduate degree program.

• Does not hold a graduate degree.

• Is motivated to achieve her education and career goals.

Deadline for application submission is November 15, 2025.
